Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? It’s been warm, humid and stormy here so far.

Today’s card is another version of yesterdays. I was playing around with colors for my rose, and I couldn’t decide which one I liked better, so I made 2 different cards that are similar in color. I personally think I like the Highland Heather a little better. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Cling Stamp Set, Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper and the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper for my card today.

This was the inspiration for my colors yesterday and today. This is one of my gardens in the front of my house.

I started by adhering a panel of Flowering Fields DSP to a Highland Heather card base. I adhered a panel of Heart & Home DSP to the center of the card front.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the large rose image from the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using my Highland Heather and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using my Cottage Flowers Dies. I adhered a piece of Soft Succulent 1/2″ Satin Shimmer Ribbon to the card front with a small amount of Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the rose over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the sentiment out using my Sending Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Elegant Faceted Gems to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the leaf image from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on either side of the panel. I colored the leaves in using my Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Soft Succulent mat and then to the inside of the Highland Heather card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the rose image from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Tuxedo Black on the envelope front. I colored the image using my Highland Heather and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Flowering Fields DSP to the envelope flap.
