Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are starting with me, thank you, I hope you will stop by everyone’s blog to see what they have created this week. If you are hopping over from Akiko’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have Theme Challenge. If you’d like to see a quick video on how I made this card, Click Here to go to my Instagram Reels. Here is my card using this week’s theme.

Stampin' Up! Stippled Roses Thanks 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration Softly Sophisticated Photopolymer Stamp Set and Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper for my card today.

This is our theme for this week.

Stampin' Up! Stippled Roses Thanks 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of Softly Stippled DSP to a Calypso Coral card base using Liquid Glue. I adhered a smaller panel of Softly Stippled DSP to a Calypso Coral mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Stippled Roses Thanks 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

Using the Stippled Roses Dies I cut the leaves from a panel of Lost Lagoon and the flowers from a panel of Petal Pink. On a panel of Softly Stippled DSP I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses Cling Stamp Set in Pebbled Path Ink. I adhered the sentiment to a Calypso Coral mat using Glue Dots..

Stampin' Up! Stippled Roses Thanks 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front using Liquid Glue. I adhered the leaves between the sentiment DSP and the mat using Liquid Glue. I adhered the flowers to the leaves using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Opaque Faceted Gems to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Stippled Roses Thanks 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Softly Sophisticated stamp set in Pebbled Path Ink on a panel of Basic White. I colored the small rose stamp from the Stippled Roses stamp set using Lost Lagoon and Petal Pink Stampin’ Write Markers. I gave the stamp a little huff and stamped the small rose image on the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Petal Pink mat then to the inside of the Calypso Coral card base.

Stampin' Up! Stippled Roses Thanks 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the rose image from the Stippled Roses stamp set on the envelope front, coloring it the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Softly Stippled DSP to the envelope flap.

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift and rewards – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do this, SO please remember to add my Current Host Code.

Stampin' Up! Sweetest Cherries 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweetest Cherries Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Cherry Builder Punch, Very Best Trio Punch, Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder and Sale-a-bration Sunny Days Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Here is our sketch for this week.

Stampin' Up! Sweetest Cherries 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a Sunny Days DSP card front to a Smoky Slate mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a Poppy Parade card base using Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Sweetest Cherries 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I punched the 4 sides of panels of Basic White and Smoky Slate using the Very Best Trio Punch, On the Basic White panel, I stamped the sentiment from the Sweetest Cherries stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the bottom of the panel. I embossed the Basic White panel using the Stripes & Splatters EF. I adhered the embossed panel to a Smoky Slate mat using Liquid Glue. I adhered a panel of Shaded Spruce to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered embossed panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Sweetest Cherries 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the cherry image from the Sweetest Cherries stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink. I punched the cherry out using the Cherry Builder Punch. I punched the stem out from a panel of Early Espresso and the leave from a panel of Shaded Spruce using the Cherry Builder Punch. I adhered the stem to the cherry using a Glue Dot. I adhered the cherry and leaves to the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Sweetest Cherries 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the large sentiment from the Sweetest Cherries stamp set in Poppy parade Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the smaller sentiment from the Sweetest Cherries stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink below the large sentiment. I adhered a strip of Sunny Days DSP to the side of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Smoky Slate mat then to the inside of the Poppy Parade card base.

Stampin' Up! Sweetest Cherries 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the cherry image from the Sweetest Cherries stamp set on the envelope front in Poppy Parade Ink. I stamped the stems in Early Espresso Ink and the leaves in Shaded Spruce Ink. I adhered a panel of Sunny Days DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin' Up! Bee My Valentine Fractured Card 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by cutting a panel of Basic White using the Countryside Corners Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the die cut panel to a Bee Mine DSP card front using Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Bee My Valentine Fractured Card 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered strips of Petal Pink along all the edges of the die cut up to the sides of the DSP, letting the excess hang over. Once I went all the way around with the strips of Petal Pink, I flipped the panel over and trimmed off the excess with Paper Snips. I adhered the card front to a Petal Pink card base using Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Bee My Valentine Fractured Card 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the solid bee image from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink. I stamped the bee stripes and face from the Bee My Valentine stamp set on the solid image in Tuxedo Black Ink. I punched the image out using the Bee Builder Punch. I stamped the detailed wings image from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on the Basic White panel. I cut the wings out using the Bee Builder Punch. I adhered the wings to the back of the bee body using a Glue Dot. I stamped the dotted image and the antenna from the Bee My Valentine stamp set to the sentiment panel in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered the bee to the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a heart from the Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers to the bottom of the panel.

Stampin' Up! Bee My Valentine Fractured Card 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the solid bee image from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink on the top of the panel. I stamped the bees stripes and antenna in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bee body. I stamped the wings image from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on top of the bee. I stamped the dotted image from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink all around the panel. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Petal Pink mat then to the inside of the Petal Pink card base.

Stampin' Up! Bee My Valentine Fractured Card 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the bee image from the Bee My Valentine stamp set on the envelope front in Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink and Tuxedo Black Inks. I adhered a panel of Bee Mine DSP to the envelope flap.

If you need any stamping supplies, I’d love to be your Demonstrator. Just click HERE to go directly to my online store or drop me an email if you have any questions.

MY CURRENT HOST CODE IS:   D9EX7ZXG

Use this host code when placing an order with me. When you order $50 or greater you will receive a free gift from me! If your order is over $150, please do not use this code, but you’ll still get the free gift. The free gift is your choice of any 1 item valued up to $10.00 from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog, the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog or from the Online Exclusives!  Unfortunately, packs of cardstock are no longer an option for a free gift. Shipping has become too expensive to ship and it’s costing me as much to ship as the cardstock costs. For any orders $50 or more I will also send you my monthly class tutorials.  Click HERE or go to my Customer Rewards for more details and to see what this month’s tutorials are.

Please remember to use my current Host Code and make sure that you can see my name on the final checkout page listed as your Demonstrator when you order so that you know that you’re ordering with me, and you’ll get my rewards!

Happy Stamping, Karen

*********************************************************************************************************
