Stampin’ Up! Sophisticated Sled Step Card for Fun Fold Friday

Good Black Friday morning stamping friends and welcome to my fun fold Friday. How was everyone’s Thanksgiving? We had the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade on in the morning (a tradition for years), while I was making pies. Then we had our turkey dinner later on.

Today’s card was designed by my amazing team member Judi Hartbarger. I just LOVE this bundle and don’t use it as often as I’d like to. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Sophisticated Sled Step Card 1 cretivestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Sophisticated Sled Bundle along with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder, So Swirly Embossing Folder, Bright Skies Dies and Spotlight on Nature Dies for my card today.

Stampin’ Up! Elements of Text with Natural Botanicals

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. Are you all starting the prep for your Thanksgiving dinners? I’ll be making my pies tonight and starting to prep some of the veggies. My daughter bought me tickets to a concert for my birthday. We went last night into NYC to see Pentatonix. I absolutely love the group, and the concert was beyond fantastic. There was a lot of audience participation, which was awesome. The only tough part was when they told us to get up to dance and sing along, which is really hard in Madison Square Garden in a sold-out show. I’m always amazed listening to them and there not being a band or any music playing. They performed their Christmas songs, a song from Wicked, and a song from their new Netflix movie Meet Me Nest Christmas.

Today I played with all new Online Exclusives and January-April 2025 Mini Catalog products. These items will be available starting January 7, 2025, unless you are a demonstrator. If you’d like to see a quick video of how I made this card, Click Here to go to my Instagram Reels. Here is my card for today.

Sharing Some Birthday Cards Received

Good Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. It was a very busy day yesterday at work. I was wiped out when I got home from work. I think the windy cold weather added to the exhaustion.

today I’m sharing some of the beautiful handmade cards that I received over the last couple weeks for my birthday. Thank you everyone for all the birthday wishes. I got to spend the morning of my birthday with my team members and friends on the retreat. Here are some to the cards I received.

This beauty was made by my downline and friend Jeanie. I just love the colors and the design.

This one was handmade by my team member Shirley. I absolutely love the framed daisies on the card front.

This pretty card was handmade by my friend and stamp camp ladies Barbara. I love the Peach Pie and Calypso Coral together.

This adorable fun fold card was made by one of my team members Rosie. She loves making fun folds as much as I do and I just love the hot air balloons and pastel colors.

This pretty card was made by my upline Jaimie. I just love the bouquet of flowers and the colors on this one.

This gorgeous card was made by my friend and one of my stamp camp ladies Arlene. I love all the layers and the fun design.

This pretty card was made by my team leader Amy. I just love the design and colors of it.

This stunning card was made by my friend and former neighbor and stamp camp ladies Val. I absolutely love the blues and the seashells are my favorite. I wish you could see how it sparkles.

This amazing fun fold card was made by my friend and retreat roommate Judi. She used my favorite color; Lost Lagoon and I just love all the texture and details.

This fantastic card was made by my team member Kathy. I love the fall leaves, touch of sparkle and copper accents along with all the layers.

This beauty was made by one of my friends and stamp camp ladies Carol. I love the touches of copper and those fall leaves.

This fun card was made by my friend and former demonstrator Charlene. I just love how it opens up to show many candles on the inside. Charlene was the one who got me started going to classes and making cards.

This pretty card was made by my friend and team member Ann Louise. I love how the candles sparkle with that touch of gold.

This gorgeous card was made by my friend and team member Linda. I love all the flower layers on this one and the colors. I was so happy I got to see her on the retreat again.

This amazing card was made by my friend and team member Susan. I really LOVE the colors and the design. I really missed Susan on the retreat this year, hopefully I’ll get to see her again soon.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you enjoyed seeing all the beautiful cards. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned stamper, it’s easy to make some beautiful cards and I always love seeing what other’s make. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Greetings of The Season

Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you are all have some plans in the works. I’ll be working all day today and I’m hoping to start the Christmas decorating process a little tomorrow. Yesterday and last night I was able to completely un-decorate my house. Those of you that know me, know that I pack everything away for the holidays from Knick Knacks to pictures and pillows. I rearrange furniture and move some out of the room to fit my Christmas decorations and tree. My house is like walking into Christmas land.

Today’s card was designed by Karen Ilsley for our retreat last weekend. It’s such a beautiful Christmas card and I couldn’t wait to make it. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin’ Up! Snowy Wonder Tent Fold Desk Caddy

Good Friday morning stamping friends. I hope you are all starting to make plans for the weekend. I’m going to be playing a little catch up today since I have a very busy work week coming up. I’m hoping to be able to start my autumn un-decorating today in prep for decorating for Christmas. I usually get all my decorating done the weekend after Thanksgiving, but it’s the end and beginning of the month which means I have to work 😦 and they scheduled me to work on Black Friday which I haven’t done in years.

Today’s project is one that Mary Deatherage designed for us to make at the retreat last weekend. This project makes a perfect little gift.

Stampin' Up! snowy Wonder Tent Desk Caddy 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! snowy Wonder Bundle along with the Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper for my project today.

Stampin' Up! snowy Wonder Tent Desk Caddy 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

Adhere a panel of Snowy Scenes DSP to a Shaded Spruce mat using Stampin’ Seal. Fussy cut one of the globes from the Snowy Scenes DSP using Paper Snips. Adhere it to the bottom of the card front using Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White, stamp the tree image from the Stampin’ Up! Snowy Wonder Photopolymer Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink. Cut the tree out using the Snowy Wonder Dies. Cut 2 of the trees using the Snowy Wonder Dies from a panel of Pool Party. Adhere the trees to the card front next to the snow globe, using Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp the sentiment from the Snowy Wonder stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the card front to a Poppy Parade card base using Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! snowy Wonder Tent Desk Caddy 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

Adhere the calendar to a Poppy Parade mat using Liquid Glue. Adhere the layered calendar to a Shaded Spruce mat using Liquid Glue. Adhere the layered calendar to the top of the card front using Tear & Tape. For the tent, fold the 4″ X 4″ panel of Poppy Parade on the 2″ score line as a mountain fold. Fold on the 1/2″ & 3 1/2″ score lines as valley folds. Adhere it to the inside of the card base using Tear & Tape on the 1/2″ & 3 1/;2″ folds

Here is a diagram that Mary gave us so we knew where to score & cut. Score the 2 3/4″ X 5 1/2″ panel of Shaded Spruce at 1/2″, 1″, 4 1/2″ & 5″. Score the panel at 1/2″ & 1″ on the bottom. Using Paper Snips, cut the 2 bottom squares off. Cut the remaining 2 squares on each side into tabs using Paper Snips. Fold on all the score lines and add Tear & Tape as in the above photo. Fold the panels in to make a little open back box. Adhere the box to the bottom of the Shaded Spruce mat. Adhere the matted box to the back of the Poppy Parade tent fold card base using Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! snowy Wonder Tent Desk Caddy 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

Adhere the 2 7/8″ X 3 3/4″ panel of Snowy Scenes DSP to the 3″ X 3 7/8″ Poppy Parade mat using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to the top of the Shaded Spruce mat using Liquid Glue. Adhere the 1 1/2″ X 3 1/4″ panel of Snowy Scenes DSP to the 1 5.8″ X 3 3/8″ panel of Poppy Parade. Adhere the layered panel to the front of the sticky note holder. On a panel of Basic White, stamp the house image from the Snowy Wonder stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink. Color the window and door using Daffodil Delight and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers. Using the Snowy Wonder Dies, cut the house, 2 trees from Pool Party and 1 tree from Shaded Spruce. Adhere the Shaded Spruce tree using Glue Dots. Adhere the house slightly over the tree using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the Pool Party trees using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you like the project and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees

Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. How has everyone’s week started off. I’m trying to get back into a normal routine again after being away. It was nice being away for a few days and not having to do a thing except make cards and socialize.

Today’s card is one that we made at the retreat, it was designed by Amy Koenders our team leader. This is one of those perfect cards to make if you have scraps laying around. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Decorative Trees 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees Bundle along with Merriest Trees Dies, Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder, Take A Bow 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper, Festive Glimmer Paper and Stylish Shapes Dies for my card today.

Stampin' Up! Decorative Trees 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

Emboss a Crumb Cake card front using the Snowflake Sky EF. Adhere the embossed card front to a Crumb Cake card base using Liquid Glue. Adhere the 6 – 3/4″ X 3 3/4″ strips of Take A Bow DSP to the card front using Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Decorative Trees 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

From a panel of Basic White, cut the tag die from the Merriest Trees Die. From a panel of Garden Green cut the solid tree using the Decorative Trees Dies. Adhere Adhesive Sheets to panels of the Festive Glimmer Paper and cut the detailed tree and bows using the Decorative Trees Dies. Adhere the glimmer detailed tree to the solid tree. Adhere the bows to the tree. Adhere the tree to the die cut tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Thread a piece of Real Red & White Bakers Twine through the tag and tie a bow. Adhere the tag to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Decorative Trees 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Real Red, stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle the sentiment with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. Cut the sentiment using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Decorative Trees 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

Stamp the sentiment from Decorative Trees stamp set in Garden Green Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere a strip of Take A Bow DSP to the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Real Red mat then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base.

Stampin' Up! Decorative Trees 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

Finish the card by decorating a Basic White Medium Envelope. Stamp the detailed tree from the Decorative Trees stamp set on the envelope front in Garden Green Ink. Adhere a panel of Take A Bow DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin' Up! Decorative Trees 7 creativestampingdesigns.com

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you like the card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Retreat Gifts from the Weekend

Good Monday morning stamping friends and welcome to a new week. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. If you saw my posts over the weekend, you know I did. We ended our retreat with a delicious breakfast. We took some group photos, said our good byes and everyone was on their way. Amy and I were the only ones that flew in, everyone else drove in from Missouri, Tennessee and Georgia. We arrived safely home last night, and my pups were over the moon with excitement to see me.

I thought I would share some pictures of the gifts that everyone brought, it’s just something we all do. I shared my gift on Saturday, and you can find it Here.

Here’s our group from top left. Amy, Karen, Linda, Susan, Judi. Bottom left, Janet, myself and Tara.

We all put on our hats an scarves from Mary’s mom in this one.

We received personalized bags from Mary & Amy filled with a new kit stamping essentials, a candle, chocolate covered cookies, a homemade ornament and hat & scarf hand made by Mary’s mom.

Susan made us all these beautiful, personalized Christmas sacks filled with all kinds of treats she brought from England and an ornament.

We all received a bag full of goodies from Linda with some body butter, a homemade ornament and Legend of a Candy Cane trinket.

Judi, my roommate, gave us all a gift bag with a bowl cozy, liquid glue, glue holder and scissor trinket, so we always know which scissors are ours, with a heart so we think of her.

Tara made us all these adorable boxes that when you pull up there’s a hand sanitizer in it.

Karen made us all these little purses with the Autumn Expressions Dies and it was filled with candy from Missouri.

Hearts Of Elegance Project Ideas

You can’t get much more versatile than hearts, flowers, and greenery, and the Hearts of Elegance Bundle features all three. These elements are perfect for creating collage focal points, so that’s where we started with each of our projects. In addition to the bundle, ink, and cardstock, we also used Country Lace Designer Series Paper, Subtles 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper, and the Gift Bags Combo Pack.

To create the project on the left:  Adhere a panel of Country Woods DSP to the front of a Thick Basic White card base.  Adhere another panel of Country Woods DSP at a slight angle to the card front.  Stamp the images from the Hearts Of Elegance stamp set in Pool Party, Lost Lagoon and Petal Pink inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Adhere the stamped panel to the card front and then stamp the sentiment in Calypso Coral ink on a small panel of Basic White card stock.  Adhere the sentiment to the card front to finish it.

To create the card in the middle:  Adhere a panel of Country Woods DSP to the front of a Thick Basic White card base.  Cut hearts from Lost Lagoon, Pool Party and Petal Pink card stocks with the Hearts Of Elegance Dies.  Stamp the flower images from the Hearts Of Elegance stamp set on the Pool Party heart in Lost Lagoon ink. Stamp the leaves from the Hearts Of Elegance stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on Basic White card stock and die cut them with the coordinating Hearts Of Elegance Dies.  Stamp the sentiment in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White card stock and then layer and adhere the die cuts and sentiment.  Adhere Petal Pink gems from the Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems to finish the card.

To create the project on the right:  Use a Blending Brush to add Petal Pink ink to the front of one of the large gift bags from the Gift Bags Combo Pack.  Cut hearts from Country Woods and Lost Lagoon DSP from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.  Adhere the die cuts to the gift bag.  Stamp and die-cut flowers and leaves from the Hearts Of Elegance stamp set in Pool Party and Lost Lagoon inks on Basic White card stock.  Adhere the die cut hearts & flowers to the gift bag.  Cut ten smaller hearts from Petal Pink DSP from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, fold them in half, and glue them together at the fold to create a honeycomb heart.  Stamp the sentiment from the Hearts Of Elegance stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White card stock, snip it apart and adhere it to the gift bag.  Adhere Petal Pink gems from the Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems to finish the gift bag.
