Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. Does anyone have any plans in the works yet for the weekend? Looks like the rain is finally stopping here in NJ for a bit. I’ll be working all day today and tomorrow I’ll be attending our team meeting via zoom.
For today’s card I brought out a bundle from last year’s September-December Mini Catalog and made a CAS card with it. This was the bundle that our team leader Amy Koenders designed for her Million Dollar Sales Achievement and it’s still one of my favorites. I used the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Autum Leaves Dies and Oxidized Copper Specialty Designer Series Paper for my card today.
Start by using the 2 dotted dies from the Autumn Leaves Dies and emboss the Basic Beige card front with them.
Stamp the sentiment from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the bottom of the Basic Beige card front. Adhere the card front to a Pretty peacock mat using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to a Basic Beige card base using Liquid Glue.
From a panel of Pretty Peacock, cut the solid leaf using the Autumn Leaves Dies. From a panel of Oxidized Copper DSP, cut the coordinating veins using the Autumn Leaves Dies. Adhere the veins to the solid die cut leaf using Liquid Glue. Adhere the leaf to the card front using Liquid Glue. Add a few Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems to the card front.
On the inside, stamp the sentiment from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in pretty Peacock Ink on a panel of Basic Beige. Stamp the leaf image from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink, stamping off twice on scrap paper, on the 2 corners of the panel. Adhere the Basic Beige panel to a Pretty Peacock mat then to the inside of the Basic Beige card base.
To finish the card, decorated a Basic Whtie Medium Envelope. Stamp the leaf image from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the envelope front, stamping off twice on scrap paper. Adhere a panel of Oxidized Copper DSP to the envelope flap.
