Good Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope you weekend is going well. It is cold and windy here in NJ. I’m still not 100% so I’ve been staying inside and still resting as much as possible.
I have a quick card today using a couple new sets from the new catalog. I’m also using the 2022-2024 In-Colors again. These colors will be retiring this year so be sure that you have the colors that you really like before they retire. I used the Stampin’ Up! Botanical Beauty Cling Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Wild Fern Bundle for my card today.
I started by stamping the large image from the Botanical Beauty stamp set on a panel of Starry Sky in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I adhered the stamped card front to a Parakeet Party mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a Basic White mat using Liquid Glue.
I wrapped a piece of the 2022-2024 In-Color Baker’s Twine around the layered panel twice and tied a bow. I adhered the layered panel to a Starry Sky card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Wild Fern Cling Stamp Set in Starry Sky Ink on a panel of Basic White. I cut the sentiment out using the smallest rectangle from the Wild Fern Dies. On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the fern image from the Wild Fern stamp set in Parakeet party Ink. I cut the image out using the Wild Fern Dies. From a small panel of Parakeet Party, I cut out 3 of the small ferns using the Wild Fern Dies. I adhered the sentiment over the Baker’s Twine using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the stamped fern behind the sentiment using Glue Dots. I adhered the smaller die cut ferns using Liquid Glue. I added a few of the 2022-2024 In-Color Pearls to the card front.
On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Wild Fern stamp set in Starry Sky Ink. I stamped the fern image from the Wild Fern stamp set in Parakeet Party Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped full strength and then stamped off on scrap paper once. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Parakeet Party mat then to the inside of the Starry Sky card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the fern image from the Wild Fern stamp set in Parakeet Party Ink on the envelope front and flap. I stamped some full-strength Ink and some I stamped off once on scrap paper.
