Stampin’ Up! Tax Free Holiday

Starting today with Alabama!! Thirteen states are having Back-to-School Sales Tax Holidays this year and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states!

The states with upcoming tax holidays are:  Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia.  So, if you live in one of those states, take a second to download the spreadsheet Click Here and mark your calendar!

Please note that you must place your order with Stampin’ Up! during the tax holiday period in your state in order to receive these items tax-free (which is midnight on the first day to midnight on the last day of the tax holiday).  Also, keep in mind that this is a state sales tax holiday; the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.

For those wondering about Georgia, Louisiana, Virginia, and Wisconsin, those states have suspended the sales tax holiday again this year.

Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends welcome to my fun fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Are you ready for the weekend? I hope you are starting to make some plans.

Today’s card I made on YouTube Live on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the link to my YouTube channel. Here is my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder, Chic Dies and Hello Irresistible 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my diagonal easel card today.

I started by scoring and folding the Basic Whtie Thick card base as stated below. I folded the card base in half at the 5 1/2″ score line. I folded the card front back at the 4 1/4″ score line. I folded the card front down along the diagonal score line. I added Multipurpose Liquid Glue between the 4 1/4″ & 5 1/2″ score lines to adhere the ‘binder’ of the book fold card together. Using a Blending Brush, I added some Balmy Blue Ink to a Basic White panel. I embossed the panel using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. Using my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker, I flicked some Ink on the bottom of the panel to look like specks of sand. I adhered the embossed panel to a Soft Sea Foam mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to the Basic White Thick card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue only to the bottom triangle of the card base.

I made a slit with my Paper Snips on the top and bottom of the binder to hold the Linen Thread in place. I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the binder twice and tied a bow. On a piece of Vellum paper, I added some Crumb Cake Ink using the Blending Brush. Using the Chic Dies, I cut the net die from the Vellum paper. I adhered the net to the card front. From a panel of Basic White, I cut the detailed shells using the Chic Dies.

On another piece of Vellum paper, I stamped the solid shell image from the Season of Chic stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I stamped the solid shell image from the Season of Chic stamp set again on the Vellum paper in Pool Party Ink. I cut the images out using the Chic Dies. Using the Blending Brush, I added Fresh Freesia Ink and Highland Heather Ink on the Vellum paper. I took the 2 smaller shell dies and traced them on the colored Vellum paper with a pencil. I fussy cut the shells using Paper Snips. I adhered all the detailed die cut shells to the Vellum cut shells.

I adhered 2 of the shells to the card front over the net using Glue Dots. I adhered the other 2 shells using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside, I used my Blending Brush to add some Balmy Blue Ink on a Basic White panel. Using my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker, I flicked some ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Soft Sea Foam mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base. On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the seashell image from the Season of Chic stamp set in Bubble Bath Ink. I cut the shell out using the Chic Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Season of Chic stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink in the center of the shell. I adhered the shell to the bottom of the Basic White panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals where I wanted the easel to stop.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. Using my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker, I flicked ink on the bottom front of the envelope. I stamped the detailed shell images from the Season of Chic stamp set in Pool Party and Flirty Flamingo Inks. I stamped the solid shell images from the Season of Chic stamp set over the detailed images in Pool Party and Flirty Flamingo Inks, stamping off once on scrap paper for both. I adhered a panel of Hello Irresistible DSP to the envelope flap.

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. This week we have Sketch Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s sketch.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Flight Of Night Host Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Phrases For All Photopolymer Stamp Set, Stargazing Designer Series Paper and Holographic Specialty Paper for my card today. I did the Emboss Resist Technique for my card.

This is our sketch for this week.

I started by stamping the moth images from the Night of Flight stamp set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Basic White. I sprinkled the images with White Embossing Powder and set it with the Heat Tool. Using the Blending Brushes, I added Lemon Lime Twist, Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis and Berry Burst Ink to the panel. I adhered the embossed panel to a Holographic Specialty Paper mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered a panel of Stargazing DSP to a Starry Sky card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from Phrases For All stamp set in Orchid Oasis Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the artwork using Glue Dots. I tied a small bow using the 1/8″ Sweet Sorbet Metallic Ribbon and adhered it to the sentiment with a Glue Dot. I added a few 2022-2024 In-Color Pearls to the card front.

Using the Blending Brushes, I added Berry Burst and Tahitian Tide Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Berry Burst mat then to the inside of the Starry Sky card base.

Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend & 24 Hour Sale Going On

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week and heading to the weekend. It’s finally cooled off a bit here in NJ, the humidity is still up there, but the temps are only in the 80’s.

Today I have an easy card for you that uses mostly dies and just a little stamping. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Gorgeously Made Dies, Bright & Beautiful 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper and the Online Exclusives Basics 3D Embossing Folder for my card today.

My colors are from Sunday Stamps Challenge #313, Summer Days.

I also played along with Global Design Project Theme Challenge #403, Stripes.

I started by embossing a Basic White card front using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the Layered panel to an Azure Afternoon card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut the sides of a panel of Bright & Beautiful DSP using the Gorgeously Made Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Around The Bend stamp set in Azure Afternoon Ink on the top of the panel. I adhered the die cut DSP to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White, using my Balmy Blue and Grann Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers, I colored the panel with the light on the top and dark on the bottom. Using the Gorgeously Made Dies, I cut the 2 leafy dies from the colored panel of Basic White. I adhered the Balmy Blue die cut using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Granny Apple Green leafy die using Stamping Dimensionals. I tied a small bot using the Balmy Blue 1/2″ Variegated Ribbon and adhered it to the stems using a Glue Dot. I added a few Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Around The Bend stamp set in Azure Afternoon Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the corner leaf image from Around The Bend stamp set in granny Apple Green Ink on the top corner. I adhered the panel of Bright & Beautiful DSP that I cut off from the card front panel to the bottom of the Basic White panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Lemon Lolly mat then to the inside of the Azure Afternoon card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the corner leaf image from the Around The Bend stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of Bright & Beautiful DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves Monochromatic

Good Monday morning stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Were you able to enjoy some time outside? I was in all weekend, between working, the storms and the heat & humidity, I wanted nothing to do with outside. I did have to take Coraline for multiple walks though. For some reason when I’m home, she seems to need me to take her out walking every couple hours. When she’s home with my husband and daughter she sleeps all day.

I have a quick card for you today that could be a wedding card, an anniversary card, a birthday card or anything else you want to celebrate with someone. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Gorgeous Garden Dies, 2″ Circle Punch and Bough Punch for my card today.

I started by cutting a Basic White card front using the Gorgeous Garden Dies.

I adhered the die cut card front to a Basic Black mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to a Basic White Thick card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On panels of Basic White, I stamped 2 leaf images and the flower image from the Layering Leaves stamp set 2 times each in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the images out using the Bough Punch. I stamped the sentiment from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. I cut the sentiment out using the 2″ Circle Punch. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the leaves and flowers under the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Gue. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from Layereing Leaves stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. I adhered the 2nd set of leaves and flowers to the bottom of the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the leaf and flower images from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front and flap.

Stampin’ Up! Countryside Circle Sayings

Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have some fun plans in the works. It’s going to be a hot & humid one here today in NJ. Yesterday we had some severe thunderstorms with hail. The first one went through at 6:30am and I thought for sure I wasn’t going to be able to go for a walk. By 7:45/8:00 the sun was shining and it was sticky outside. It was nice the rest of the morning and early afternoon, then 4pm hit and the storm was right on top of us. The good thing was I didn’t have to water my tomatoes or other plants LOL.

Today’s card we made at our mystery stamping on Tuesday night at our Stamp Studio. My upline Jaimie gave us measurements and talked us through putting the card together. All of our cards were similar, but different at the same time. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Circle Sayings Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder, Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper and Scalloped Contours Dies for m y card today.

I started by embossing a panel of Night of Navy using the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to another panel of Night of Navy using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I folded the panel of Basic White in half. Using the Scallo9ped Contours Dies, I put the die just above the folded edge and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I adhered a panel of Countryside Inn DSP to the front of the card base using Stampin’ Seal.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the flower image from the Circle Sayings stamp set in Boho Blue Ink. I stamped the sentiment from Circle Sayings stamp set in Night of Navy Ink below the flowers. I fussy cut the image using Paper Snips. I adhered a piece of Boho Blue 3/8″ Textured Ribbon to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Ombre Matte Decorative Dots to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the flowers from the Circle Sayings stamp set on the top of a Basic White panel in Boho Blue Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I adhered a strip of the Countryside Inn DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the Basic White card base using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the card base to the Night of Navy embossed panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the flower image from the Circle Sayings stamp set in Boho blue Ink on the envelope front, some full strength and some stamped off once on scrap paper. I adhered a panel of Countryside Inn DSP to the envelope flap.

Good Friday morning my stamping friends welcome to my fun fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? I hope you are ready for the weekend. I’ll be working all day tomorrow.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Lighting The Way Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Lighting The Way Dies, Timber 3D Embossing Folder, Stylish Shapes Dies, Online Exclusive Timeless Charm Dies and One Horse Open Sleigh 65 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my joy fold card today.

I started by embossing the square panel of Basic White using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to an Azure Afternoon mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the leaf images from the Lighting The Way stamp set in Garden Green, Granny Apple Green and Soft Sea Foam Inks. On the same panel I stamped the firefly images from Lighting The Way stamp set in Basic Gray Ink. I cut all the images out using the Lighting The Way Dies. I colored the fireflies using Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers. From 2 panels of Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper, I cut 2 of the open leaf die and 3 of the grassy leaf die from the Timeless Charm Dies.

I adhered 2 panels of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP to Granny Apple Green mats using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panels to an Azure Afternoon card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, the smaller one to the front of the card base and the larger one to the inside back of the card base.

I adhered the die cut leaves to the embossed panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the fireflies above the leaves using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the embossed panel. I adhered a panel of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP to an Azure Afternoon mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the front of the small Granny Apple Green card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the square artwork panel to the front of the small card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from Lighting The Way stamp set in Azure Afternoon Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the long narrow die from Stylish Shapes Dies. The sentiment was longer than the die, so I ran it through partway, moved the die to the end of the sentiment lining up the little dashes and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine partway through again. I adhered the sentiment to the bottom of the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the inside, on 1 panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from Lighting The Way stamp set in Azure Afternoon Ink. On another panel of Basic White, I stamped the leaf images from the Lighting The Way stamp set in Garden Green, Granny Apple Green and Soft Sea Foam Inks on the side of the panel. I adhered the other Soft Shimmer die cut leaf in front of the stamped leaves using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the small firefly from the Lighting The Way stamp set in Basic Gray Ink above the leaves. I colored the firefly using Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panels to Azure Afternoon mats using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the 2 layered panels to the inside of the small Granny Apple Green card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the small card base to the inside back panel of the Azure Afternoon card base, centering it, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope.
