Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week already. I hope you are all having a good week.

It’s time for an inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. We have a new fun challenge this week.  The inspiration photo #198 is Summertime Fun. Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Ocean Front Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Bay Cling Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Circle Sayings Photopolymer Stamp Set for my Clean and Layered card today. I was inspired by the overall theme, beach and birds in the photo.

I hope you will take a moment to visit The Card Concepts and join us for our challenge 198.  How are you inspired by the photos?

I started by stamping a Basic White card front using the Oceanfront stamp set. I stamped the center water image first using Tahitian Tide Ink. I then stamped the sky image using Tahitian Tide Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. Last I stamped the sand image on the bottom in Crumb Cake Ink. I stamped the detailed sand image from the Oceanfront stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink over the already stamped sand image. I stamped the tall grass image from the Oceanfront stamp set in Old Olive Ink on the side. I stamped the cattails image from the Oceanfront stamp set in Wild Wheat Ink next to the tall grass. I adhered the artwork to the center front of a Tahitian Tide card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of Pecan Pie cardstock using the Online Exclusive Radiating Stitches Dies. I cut the center out of the panel using the 4th largest Deckled Rectangle Dies to make a frame. I adhered the frame over the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sand piper bird image from the Seaside Bay stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink. I cut the birds out using the Seaside Bay Dies. I adhered one of the birds using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the other two using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Circle Sayings stamp set on a panel of Basic White. I fussy cut the sentiment using Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment to the top of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few 2023-2025 In-Color Dots to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Circle Sayings stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the sand image from the Oceanfront stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the details sand image in Crumb Cake Ink. I stamped the tall grass image from the Oceanfront stamp set on either side of the panel in Old Olive Ink. I stamped the cattails image from the Oceanfront stamp set in Wild Wheat Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pecan Pie mat then to the inside of the Tahitian Tide card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the sand image from the Oceanfront stamp set on the bottom of the envelope front and flap. I stamped the tall grass image in Old Olive Ink, the cattails image in Wild Wheat Ink and the sand pipers in Pecan Pie Ink.
