Stampin’ Up! Path of Petals for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  Hope it was a productive one.  I had off yesterday and I went non stop from early morning till late at night getting things done.  I did some of my fall cleaning and decorating, washed windows and changed curtains.  I even had some time to make a card for today.

I have a really quick and easy fun fold card for you today.  I’m not quite sure what the name of today’s fun fold card is.  I want to call it a corner fold card.  Take a look.

I started with a Rococo Rose card base which is 4 1/4″ X 11″.  I scored at the 5 1/2″ and then made a little mark 1 1/4″ from the score line on the front of the card.  I scored from that mark to the bottom right corner and folded the corner to the front.  To give it a little texture, I embossed the card front using my Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.

Using the largest scallop square from my Layering Squares Dies, I cut the Pear Pizzazz panel.  I took the 2nd largest square from the Layering Squares Dies and cut my Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper out.  Using my Stampin’ Sponge, I sponged the edges of the Pear Pizzazz scallop square with Pear Pizzazz Ink.  I adhered the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP panel to the scallop square using Snail.  Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, I adhered the Mossy Meadow panel to the card base lining up the corners of the square with the fold line.  I adhered the matted DSP to the Mossy Meadow panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Path of Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink.  I made the strip into a banner and sponged the edges with Pear Pizzazz Ink.  I adhered the banner under the scallop square using Glue Dots.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Path of Petals stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the leaf image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on the side of the panel.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the Rococo Rose card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the leaf image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink.  I stamped the flower image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Rococo Rose Ink on the leaf image.  I adhered a panel of Pressed Petals Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
