Good Friday morning stamping friends and welcome to my fun fold Friday. I hope you all had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend.

How many of you have a problem every now and then with crafters block? It’s an ongoing problem with me. I’ll stand in front of my shelves of stamp sets not knowing what to use. Yesterday I went outside and walked around my yard. Most of my hydrangeas are in full bloom. After looking around, I went inside and grabbed a bunch of cardstock and brought it outside. By now I knew what I wanted to use for my card, I just needed to pick the colors. I used the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Thankful Garden Bundle along with the Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper and Textured Notes Dies for my card today.

My inspiration came from this Hydrangea bush in my front yard.

This was the other card I made, which is the same as the other one but with Berry Burst, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape Inks

This was my inspiration for the 2nd card. I have purple and pink blooms on the same bush. I also have purple and blue bushes that are also multicolored on the same bushes.

Cut a panel of Basic White using the 2nd largest Textured Notes Dies. Add some Bubble Bath Ink with a Blending Brush in the center of the die cut. On the same panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the Textured Notes Dies.

Adhere a panel of Lovely Garden DSP to a Basic Black mat with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to the front panel of the Melon Mambo card base with Stampin’ Seal.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the hydrangea image from the Thankful Garden stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Using the Thankful Garden Decorative Masks #1, # 2 & #3 add Melon Mambo Ink with the Blending Brush. Using the Thankful Garden Decorative Masks #4 & #5 add Granny Apple Green Ink with the Blending Brush. Cut the image out using the Thankful Garden Dies. Adhere the flower to the die cut panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the sentiment to the bottom of the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Starburst Sequins to the card front.

Adhere a panel of Lovely Garden DSP to a Basic Black mat with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to the inside of the card base with Stampin’ Seal. On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Thankful Garden stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Adhere a strip of Lovely Garden DSP to the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat then to the inside of the Melon Mambo card base.

Decorate a Basic white Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the hydrangea image from the Thankful Garden stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. Color the image the same as for the card front with the Thankful Garden Decorative Masks. Adhere a panel of Lovely Garden DSP to the envelope flap.
