Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings Fun Fold

Good Friday morning my stamping friends. How was your Thanksgiving? Were you overstuffed from eating too much? I didn’t have too much of an appetite, so I didn’t over eat this year, which is good, lol. My daughter still loves watching the Macy’s Day Parade and I was listening to it while I was making my pumpkin swirl cheesecake and starting my pumpkin crescent rolls. I always have to go in to watch the end of the parade when Santa arrives, that tells me it’s ok to start decorating. My plan today is to get as much decorating done as I can since I have to work tomorrow and Sunday. I had all these big plans that I was going to have all my decorating done between yesterday and today. Oh Well.

Today and tomorrow’s cards are similar to last Friday’s that I made on my Facebook Live. Unfortunately I could do a live this week due to having pneumonia and not being able to stop coughing. I’m hoping to be back next week, hopefully this coughing will subside a little. I did post links to the videos below along with the measurements so that you can stamp along with the video. Here is another version of the fun fold card from last Friday.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings Bundle along with the Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started with a panel of Sweet Stocking DSP and cut from the right center in 2″. I then scored from the center cut line to the 2 corners using my Paper Trimmer. I folded the 2 sides back creating the 2 triangles.

I embossed an Evening Evergreen card front using the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the cut DSP to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered the layered panel to an Evening Evergreen card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock using the 3rd largest circle from the Layering Circle Dies and stamped it with the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings Photopolymer Stamp Set in Evening Evergreen Ink. I adhered the sentiment circle to a coordinating Cherry Cobbler scalloped circle that I cut from the Layering Circles Dies.

I adhered some of the silver Simply Elegant Trim to the card front and adhered the artwork on top of it using Stampin’ Dimensionals. On a small panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the little dog image from the Sweet Little Stockings stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image in using my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using my Stocking Dies and adhered it to the bottom of the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using my Stocking Dies I cut 2 of the holly leaves and 2 of the berries from scraps of Evening Evergreen and Cherry Cobbler and adhered them to the top of the circle.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Little Stockings stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the Santa hat image from the Sweet Little Stockings stamp set on the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it using my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a strip of Sweet Stockings DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat and then to the inside of the Evening Evergreen card base.

To complete my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of the Sweet Stockings DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap. I stamped the Santa hat image from the Sweet Little Stockings stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front right where I would write the address, and colored it in using my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you like my fun fold card and will give it a try. To see the video on how to make this fold from last Friday on my Facebook page, you can find it Here. To view the how to video on my YouTube channel, you can find it Here. Happy Stamping!!
