Stampin’ Up! Chocolate and Cookies

Good Saturday morning my fellow stampers.  Hope your weekend is starting out well.  We’re suppose to have a hot sticky one here.  Last I heard the real feel for tomorrow is 107, I will be staying in all day except to bring my dog out.

For today’s I made a monochromatic card for you using a fun new set I just received this week.  Here’s my card for you.

My sketch is from Colour and Sketch Challenge #379.  Here is their sketch.

I also played along with Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #403.  Here is their board.

I started by randomly stamping the chocolate, cookie and star images from the Stampin’ Up! Nothing’s Better Than Photopolymer Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink on a Crumb Cake card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set on the bottom of the card front in Early Espresso Ink.  From a panel of Whisper White cardstock I cut the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I stamped the candy image from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set in Early Espresso Ink.  I colored the candy in using my Bronze, Ivory and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the 1st cookie image from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set in Soft Suede Ink and the 2nd fill image in Crumb Cake Ink, stamping off once.  I cut the images out using the Love You More Than Dies.   I cut the chocolate sentiment from the Love You More Than Dies out of a panel of Early Espresso cardstock.  I stamped the cookie sentiment from the Love You More Than Dies from a panel of Soft Suede cardstock.  I cut the & sign out of a scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock from the Well Written Dies.

I adhered the sentiments and & sign to the stitched circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the star image from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set randomly in Crumb Cake Ink around the sentiment.  I adhered the circle to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the chocolate die cut to the top of the circle and the cookie die cut to the bottom using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Crumb Cake card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the chocolate image from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom of the panel and colored the image in using my Bronze, Ivory and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the 1st part of the cookie image from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set in Soft Suede Ink and the fill image in Crumb Cake Ink, stamped off once.  I stamped the star image from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink around the images.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Crumb Cake mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the chocolate image from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the envelope front and flap.  I colored the images in using my Bronze, Ivory and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the 1st part of the cookie image from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the envelope front and flap and stamped the fill image in Crumb Cake Ink, stamping off once.  I stamped the star image from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set around the images in Crumb Cake Ink.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
