Good snowy Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the long holiday weekend. I woke up this morning to at least 7″ of snow and it’s still coming down. I heard it was going to snow, but lately the weatherman hasn’t gotten the weather correct, so I was in disbelief. I LOVE when it snows and looking outside at the beautiful blanket of white. I especially love when I get to stay inside and look at it all day, but I’ll be at work all day and I’m guessing it’s going to be busy with all those people who suddenly don’t have shovels, want to buy the snowblowers and need salt. Do you have any plans in the works? Who’s lucky enough to have a long weekend for Presidents day?

Wit the beautiful blanket of snow, I have a quick and easy springy card for you using some of the Sale-a-bration DSP. If you’d like to see a quick video of how I made this card, Click Here to go to my Instagram Reels. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Expressions Bundle along with the Layered Floral 3D Embossing Folder and Sale-a-bration Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Expressions Cling Stamp Set in Boho Blue Ink on the bottom of a Basic White card front. I embossed the top section of the card front using the Layered Floral EF.

I adhered a strip of Flight & Airy DSP to the embossed panel using Liquid Glue. I adhered the card front to a Boho Blue card base using Liquid Glue.

From a panel of Flight & Airy DSP, I cut the bird image using the Thoughtful Expressions Dies. Using the next size larger Thoughtful Expressions Dies, I cut a panel of Boho Blue. I adhered the die cut DSP to the die cut Boho Blue panel using Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Glossy Dots Assortment to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Thoughtful Expressions stamp set in Boho Blue Ink on a panel of Basic White. I adhered a strip of Flight & Airy DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Boho Blue mat then to the inside of the Boho Blue card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of Flight & Airy DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.
