Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through and on our way to the weekend. I hope everyone’s week is going well. I had 1 day off this week, and it was yesterday. I made the most of it for sure. By 9am I had brought my daughter to the train station, started laundry, did a sink full of dishes from a mess I made, and I had 20 containers of homemade pesto made. My basil was unbelievable this year, I had leaves the size of my hand, and the smell was amazing. The rest of the day was spent doing my normal chores around the house, running errands, taking the puppy out multiple times, appointments a little bit of gardening and finding time to catch up on emails. I’m really looking forward to my next day off, next Tuesday, already lol.

It’s time for an inspiration challenge for The Card Concepts. This week we have 2 inspiration photos. The inspiration is Travel Abroad or Stay At Home. You can pick something from the photo, or you can go with the colors. Here is my card that was inspired from the 1st challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Ranunculus Romance Cling Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set, Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch and the Vellum Layering Designs Paper for my Clean and Layered card this week.

I started by adhering a panel of the Vellum Layering Designs Paper to a Basic Black card base. I only put the adhesive behind where I was going to put the artwork since you can see it through the vellum.

From a panel of Basic White cardstock, using my Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch, I punched out 5 rectangles. On 2 of the rectangles, I stamped the floral images from the Ranunculus Romance stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink. On 2 of the rectangles, I first stamped the script image in So Saffron Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I then stamped the sentiments in Tuxedo Black Ink over the script. On the last rectangle, I stamped the Eiffel Tower image from the Ranunculus Romance stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink.

I adhered the punched rectangle stamps to So Saffron mats using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panels to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the rose image from the Ranunculus Romance stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a So Saffron mat then to the inside of the Basic Black card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the images from the Ranunculus Romance stamp set in Balmy Blue, Poppy Parade, So Saffron and Tuxedo Black on the envelope front and flap.
