Stampin’ Up! Encircled In Warmth for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Welcome to the long weekend. Does anyone have any plans? I believe I will be working both days, I’m not sure since I couldn’t go into the dog bakery yesterday. Unfortunately our town was under water from Ida and the businesses in town were closed. There was a lot of damage around our town, flooding, abandon cars, fires etc. Luckily I didn’t get any damage inside my house, but out property was flooded. If all goes as planned, I’ll be heading to the sunflower maze first thing this morning. From what we heard, where we’re going, they weren’t harmed by Ida, just the rain. I’ll share some pictures if we do get there.

I wasn’t able to go live on Wednesday because of my work schedule. I plan on being live again next Wednesday though. I made a Gift Card holder for today’s fun fold card.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Encircled In Warmth Cling Stamp Set along with the Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper for my card today. This is one of the FREE DSP’s from the August-September Sale-a-bration catalog with a qualifying order.

I started by scoring and folding a panel of Peaceful Prints DSP at 4″ & 8″. I cut the left side of the panel from the top of the 4″ score line to the bottom left corner using my Paper Trimmer. I used a tiny bead of Multipurpose Liquid Glue along the bottom and adhered it to the center of the folded panel.

I stamped the sentiment from the Encircled In Warmth stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I cut the sentiment out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the sentiment to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the layered panel to the front of the DSP panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Cherry Cobbler Matte Decorative Dots to the card front.

I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock on an angle and embossed it using my Wintry 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the inside left of the DSP using a thin bead of Multipurpose Liquid Glue along the bottom and right side of the triangle. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Encircled In Warmth stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink. I cut the sentiment out using my Tailored made Tags Dies. I threaded a piece of Black Bakers Twine from the Bakers Twine Essential Pack through the top of the tag. I adhered the DSP to a Cherry Cobbler base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my gift card holder I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of the Peaceful Prints DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my fun fold and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
