Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? We had a beautiful, warm weekend here in NJ. I worked both days, but I get out by 5pm so there’s plenty of time left to enjoy part of it.

Today’s card was a surprise that we made at my Stamp Camp Class last Tuesday. I wasn’t sure what we were going to make then I remembered I had purchased these adorable boxes and thought a note card would go perfectly with it. Here’s my card and box.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Tidings & Trimmings Bundle for both items, keeping it very simple. The box is the Scalloped Kraft Treat Box and it’s really a great size for a little gift.

I assembled the Scalloped Craft Treat Box and adhered a piece of the Evening Evergreen 3/8″ Chevron Weave Ribbon using a small amount of Stampin’ Seal on the top of the box. I cut a solid Merry Merlot star using my Christmas Trimmings Dies. I cut a detailed star from a panel of Gold Foil paper which was adhered to a piece of an Adhesive Sheet, and adhered it to the solid star. I adhered the star to the box top over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Tidings & Trimmings Photopolymer Stamp Set in Evening Evergreen Ink. I stamped the berry image in Merry Merlot Ink on the panel of cardstock. I cut the images out using my Christmas Trimmings Dies. I cut another leaf die from a scrap of Evening Evergreen cardstock and the berry die from a scrap of Merry Merlot cardstock. I adhered the leaves and berries under the star using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a strip of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink and adhered it to the star using Glue Dots.

For the Basic White Note Card I randomly stamped the outline leaf images from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink on the card front. I stamped the leaf fill images in Evening Evergreen Ink, stamping off once. I stamped the berry image from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink between the leaf images. I stamped the sentiment from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink in the center of the card front. I added a few Cherry Cobbler Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I randomly stamped the leaf and berry images from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set in Evening Evergreen and Merry Merlot Inks on the top and bottom of the Basic White Note Card. I stamped the sentiment from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink in the center of the card base.

To complete my Basic White Note Card a decorated a matching Basic White Note Card Envelope. I randomly stamped the leaves and berry images from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set in Evening Evergreen and Merry Merlot Ink the same as I did for the card.
