Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a Sketch Challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. I used the new Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance Cling Stamp along with the new Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper. Here’s my card using this weeks sketch.

My colors are from Sunday Stamps Challenge #251, Have A Slice.

Here is our sketch for this week.

I started by stamping part of the Butterfly Brilliance stamp in Smoky Slate Ink on a panel of the Butterfly Bijou DSP. I adhered the stamped DSP to a panel of Poppy Parade cardstock using Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered a panel of the Butterfly Bijou DSP to a Calypso Coral card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Gala Photopolymer Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink. I adhered the sentiment to a Poppy Parade mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front using a Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped part of the Butterfly Brilliance stamp up one side of a panel of Basic White cardstock in Smoky Slate Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink in the center of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a So Saffron mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Calypso Coral card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the butterfly image from the Butterfly Brilliance stamp on the envelope front in Smoky Slate Ink. I adhered a panel of the Butterfly Bijou DSP on the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Wow, Karen! Bright, cheerful and your are in contention with the other Karen here for that color challenge. That would be a real challenge for me as I tend to NOT use those colors. You handled them masterfully!

Lovely card, Karen! The butterflies in light gray look so soft and pretty on the soft dsp (which looks like ink blending without the inky fingers!). Thanks so much for joining us at Sunday Stamps!
