Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. How is everyone doing today? If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a sketch challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s awesome projects.
Here is our sketch for this week

Here is my card using this sketch.

I pulled out a bundle from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog for today’s card, the Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air Bundle. I thought it made a nice wintery masculine birthday card.

I started by stamping the mountain image from the Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air Photopolymer Stamp Set in Gray Granite Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the tree image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Garden Green Ink on the same panel. I cut both image out using the Majestic Mountain Dies.

On a smaller panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the mountains from the Mountain Air stamp set in Gray Granite Ink in the center of the panel. I stamped the cloud image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Gray Granite Ink, stamping off once. I colored the moon/sun in using my So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the die cut mountains over the stamped mountains using Stampin’ Dimensionals, then I adhered the die cut trees to the bottom of the panel overlapping the mountains using Stampin’ Dimensionals on the bottom only. I adhered the artwork to a Garden Green panel on an angle using Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered a panel of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to a Gray Granite card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. On a strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Friend Like You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Gray Granite Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Friend Like You stamp set in Gray Granite Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the bird image from the Mountain Air stamp set on either side of the sentiment in Gray Granite Ink. I stamped the mountains from the Mountain Air stamp set in Gray Granite Ink about 1/2″ from the bottom of the panel. I stamped the tree image from the Mountain Air stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Garden Green Ink. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Garden Green mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Gray Granite card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the mountains from the Mountain Air stamp set in Gray Granite Ink on the bottom front of the envelope. I adhered a panel of In Good Taste DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. 1. Your creation makes me want to be in the Adirondacks or Blue Ridge Mountains BUT it’s been in the 40’s each morning this week so I’m content with the palm trees! Great card.

  2. Love your mountains on the barn wood background. Such a pretty scene—almost like outside my windows. And right now, I’d prefer palm trees and warmer weather too!
