Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone’s week going?  Well it’s back to work for me today.  After getting home early Tuesday morning (2am), and spending the day unpacking, doing laundry and running for groceries, it’s time to get back into the normal routine and relax.  Vacations are great, but I love my daily routine days.

For today’s card I made you a really quick one featuring the beautiful Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper.  I think this paper is absolutely gorgeous.  Really makes me want to go to Hawaii.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of the Tropical Oasis DSP to a Pear Pizzazz mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted DSP to a So Saffron card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Chic Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink.  I stamped one of the leaf images from the Tropical Chic stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink over the sentiment stamping off once.  I cut the sentiment out using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  I adhered a piece of the Whisper White 5/8″ Flax Ribbon across the center of the card front using Snail.  I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the hibiscus image from the Tropical Chic stamp set in Lovely Lipstick Ink.  I cut the image out using the Tropical Dies.  I adhered the hibiscus to the end of the sentiment using a Glue Dot.  I added a couple Lovely Lipstick Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Tropical Chic stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the leaf image from the Tropical Chic stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on the left side of the panel once in full strength and twice stamped off.  I adhered another hibiscus flower that I had stamped from the Tropical Chic stamp set in Lovely Lipstick and cut out using the Tropical Dies using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.   I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pear Pizzazz mat using Snail and then to the inside of the So Saffron card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the leaf image from the Tropical Chic stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on the side and bottom of the envelope front, some stamped full strength and some stamped off.  I adhered a panel of the Tropical Oasis DSP to the envelope flap.
