Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s Halloween?  Ours was very wet and sad.  In nice weather we don’t get a lot of Trick or Treaters, so the rain made it empty.  My little nephew’s parades were cancelled so I didn’t even get to see them.

For today’s card I’ve used the gorgeous new Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper for my fun fold.  I wish pictures could show you how absolutely beautiful this paper is.  Here’s my card.

I started with a panel of Christmastime Is Here Specialty DSP and scored it on the 10″ side at 1″, 1 1/2″, 2 1/2″, 3″, 4″, 4 1/2″, 5 1/2″, 6″, 7″, 7 1/2″, 8 1/2″ and 9″.  I then made a little mark on the 10″ side at 4 1/2″ & 5 1/2″ on both the top and bottom.  I turned the paper to the 5 3/8″ side and made a mark at 2 3/16″ & 3 3/16″ on both the top and bottom.  I cut from the 5 3/8″ side to the 10″ side to the little marks.  The paper looked like this when I was done.

I wanted the floral side out so I made the 1st fold on the end down and continued folding it like an accordion from both sides.  I adhered the pleated fold to a Cherry Cobbler card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue down the center back.

I wrapped a piece of the beautiful new 1/4″ Gold Shimmer Ribbon around the center of the pleats and adhered it in the back using a little Snail.  On a small piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I cut the sentiment out using my Stitched Shapes Dies.  I cut a scalloped oval out of Mossy Meadow cardstock using my Layering Ovals Dies.  I was going to cut out a gold scalloped oval, but I wasn’t happy with how it looked next to the ribbon.

I adhered the sentiment oval to the scalloped oval using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a small bow made from the 1/4″ Gold Shimmer Ribbon using a Glue Dot to the side of the sentiment.  I added a few of the new Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to the card front.  I adhered the card front to a Mossy Meadow card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the So Many Stars stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I adhered 2 strips of the Christmastime Is Here Specialty DSP to either side of the panel using Snail.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I adhered a panel of the Christmastime Is Here Specialty DSP to the envelope flap and a strip of the DSP to the front of the envelope.
