Stampin’ Up! Gathered Wheat for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. If you are hopping over from Akiko’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have a Theme Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s Theme.

Stampin' Up! Gathered Wheat 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Gathered Wheat Bundle along with the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Here is our theme for this week.

Stampin' Up! Gathered Wheat 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by stamping the small wheat image from the Stampin’ Up! Gathered Wheat Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink on a Soft Suede card base. I adhered a panel of the Gingham Cottage DSP to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Gathered Wheat 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the large wheat image from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in Soft Suede Ink. I stamped the splatter image from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink on the top of the wheat image. I stamped the sentiment from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the top of Basic Whtie panel. I cut the image out using the Wheat Dies. From a panel of Crushed Curry cardstock, I cut the small wheat dies and the border die from the Wheat Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the Basic Whtie panel.

I adhered the border wheat die to the bottom of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the large wheat image to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the small wheat die cuts behind the large image using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I tied a multi loop bow from Linen Thread and adhered it to the wheat using a Glue Dot. I adhered the die cut sentiment to the top of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the top of the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the small wheat image from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink on either side of the panel, stamping some full strength and some stamped off once on scrap paper. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Real Red mat and then to the inside of the Soft Suede card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the smaller wheat image from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of Gingham Cottage DSP to the envelope flap.
