Good Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. It’s been a warm one here in NJ, but temps are supposed to drop to the 70’s tomorrow. I’m loving the heat after being in Alaska last week.

I have a different technique for you today and I’m really loving it. Every once in a while, Stampin’ Up! sends demonstrators ideas to use, I gave last week’s a try. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Words & Wishes Bundle, Regals Painted Patterns Designer Series Paper and Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper for my card today.

Tear the bottom of the panel of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. add about 32oz of water to a bowl and add 30-40 drops of Blueberry Bushel Ink and stir. Dip paper in the water and hold it in for 30-60 seconds. Let dry. Add another 10-15 drops of Blueberry Bushel Ink and stir. Dip paper in the colored water again not as far as the 1st time and hold if for 30-60 seconds. Let dry. Add another 10-15 drops of Blueberry Bushel Ink and stir. Dip paper in colored water only a little and hold it for 30-60 seconds. Let dry.

Die cut the sentiment from the center of the panel of Regals Painted Patterns DSP using the Words & Wishes Dies. Adhere the panel of DSP to a Blueberry Bushel card base. Adhere the sentiment to the dry panel of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Wrap a piece of Balmy Blue 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon around the bottom of the panel and tie a bow.

Adhere the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. On a panel of Basic White, stamp the cake image from the Words & Wishes stamp set in Secret Sea Ink. Color the image using Balmy Blue and Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Blends Markers. Cut the image out using the Words & Wishes Dies. Adhere the cake to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the cake.

Stamp the sentiments from the Words & Wishes stamp set in Secret Sea Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the cake image from the Words & Wishes stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Secret Sea Ink. Color the image with Balmy Blue & Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Balmy Blue mat then to the inside of the Blueberry Bushel card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the cake image from the Words & Wishes stamp set in Secret Sea Ink on the envelope front. color the image with Balmy Blue and Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere a panel of Regals Painted Patterns DSP to the envelope flap.

How my shares work:  I order full packs of all of the Papers listed below, I cut them into 6″ X 6″ pieces (or 6″ X 12″ pieces for double shares) and give you one panel of each design from each pack on the list.  I pack up the paper in a cellophane bag with labels listing the Name, Item # and Colors in the pack and mail it back out to you just as quickly as I can!
