Good Monday morning stamping friends and welcome to the last week of February!! I hope you all had a great weekend

For today’s card I was playing with different color inks and blending brushes to try to come up with the colors of one of my hydrangea plants around my house. I have 8 different plants around my house that bloom beautifully during the summer. I did a pretty good job of matching one of them with my card today. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusives Thankful Garden Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Detailed Succulent Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Beautiful Butterflies Dies for my card today.

Stamp the large flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Using the Blending Brushes and Thankful Garden Decorative Masks add colors to the image. Start with Mask #1 and Bubble Bath Ink, Mask #2 use Petunia Pop Ink and Mask #3 use Berry Burst Ink. For Mask #’s 5 & 6 use Granny Apple Green Ink. Cut the image out using the Thankful Garden Dies.

On a panel of Basic White, use Mask #’s 5 & 6 and add Old Olive Ink creating leaves for the background of the flower image. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Petunia Pop mat using Stampin’ Seal. From a panel of Granny Apple Green, cut 2 of the leaf dies using the Thankful Garden Dies. Adhere the flower image to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Cut the leaves apart using Paper Snips and adhere them behind the flower using Glue Dots. Adhere the layered card front to a Bubble Bath card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Detailed Succulent stamp set in Petunia Pop Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the Beautiful Butterflies Dies. Adhere a piece of Petunia Pop 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Starburst Sequins (available March 4) to the card front

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from Detailed Succulent stamp set in Petunia Pop Ink. Stamp the flower image from the Thankful Garden stamp set on the panel in Bubble Bath Ink. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Petunia Pop mat then to the inside of the Bubble Bath card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the flower image from the Thankful Garden stamp set in Bubble Bath Ink on the envelope front and flap.

Stampin’ Up! Online Zoom Class with Karen & Tara

Tara Carpenter and I have teamed up again for another fun Online Zoom Class!! We are offering a fun Online Class using the new Online Exclusive Year of Flowers bundle (which will be available March 4th). We’ll be making 6 different cards, 2 which will be fun folds, using this Bundle.

The class will be held on Zoom on Sunday March 23rd from 1pm – 5pm ET.
