Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend and Easter? We had a very relaxing Easter here. My older niece and her daughter came over for brunch. I let her daughter go through some of my older DSP and stamp sets when we were done. She’s just getting into scrapbooking, and I thought I’d give her a little head start. I had a lot of older felt stamp pads, so she picked a whole lot of those too. She was very excited because she’s on spring break this week and is going to start playing with everything. I can’t wait to see what she creates with everything.

Today’s card I played with a new set from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog that I just received last week as part of my preorder and a set from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. Here’s my card for today.

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles Bundle along with the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set for my card today.

My design is from the As You See It Challenge #272.

I started by adhering a panel of Flowering Fields DSP to a Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut another panel of Flowering Fields DSP into strips.

I adhered the strips of Flowering Fields DSP to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. From a panel of Poppy Parade cardstock I cut the sentiment using the Sending Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles Photopolymer Stamp Set in Poppy Parade Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock and cut it using my Sending Dies.

I adhered the die cut sentiment using a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front. I adhered the stamped sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I colored a few Pearls Basic Jewels using my Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Marker and adhered them to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the stem and leaf images from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on the bottom of a Basic White panel. I stamped the medium tulip image from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink. I stamped the detailed tulip image in Poppy Parade Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the tulip image. I stamped the sentiment from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink next to the tulip. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Flowering Fields DSP mat and then to the inside of the Pool Party card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the tulip image from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade Inks on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of Flowering Fields DSP to the envelope flap.
