Stampin’ Up! CAS Quite Curvy Hello

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. How has everyone’s week started off? It’s gotten a bit cold here and they are calling for snow a couple times this week, YAY!!! I don’t want that little stuff though, I want a storm that I have to stay home and craft all day.

Today is my last card as a guest designer for the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge. I’ve had a lot of fun this month designing with them. I used the Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Bundle for my card today along with some FREE Sale-A-Bration DSP. Here’s my card for today.

Here is the sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #404.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White card front. To make sure I had it in the right place, I cut a panel of Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (FREE Sale-A-Bration item), using the Curvy Dies and set it down on the card front. I embossed the Basic White panel using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered the cut panel of DSP to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the matted panel to a So Saffron card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Flower & Field Designer Series Paper is a pack of 12 X 12 DSP that is free with a qualifying order of $50.

On a scrap of Basic White cardstock I stamped the bird from the Quite Curvy stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it in using my Crumb Cake and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the bird out using the Curvy Dies and adhered it to the card front using Glue Dots.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Quite Curvy stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the floral image from the Quite Curvy stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink below the sentiment and colored it in using my Cherry Cobbler, Granny Apple Green and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the So Saffron card base using Stampin’ Seal.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the floral image from the Quite Curvy stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front and colored it in using my Cherry Cobbler, Granny Apple Green and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of the Flower & Field DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

  1. So pretty Karen with all those florals – love that paper too! For some reason I didn’t decorate the inside of my card this week, but I’m going back to CASE the inside of yours to finish it off properly – it looks lovely. Thanks for being our guest designer this month – your creations have been fabulous! I do hope you continue to play along in the coming weeks and months.

  2. What a lovely guest you’ve been this month Karen! I’ve loved seeing all your gorgeous cards. The paper you’ve used is gorgeous this week and I adore that little bird. The inside of the card is so pretty too – it could be a CAS card all on its own!

  3. Karen, I am not believing our cards. After I posted mine I decided to look at all the others and low and behold there was your card just the opposite of mine. Great minds run together I suppose. Wish I had looked at cards first I would not have posted mine. I love yours. Why didn’t I think of a bird that makes it? You always make such beautiful cards I always enjoy seeing them.❤😊
