Stampin’ Up! Heartwarming Hugs for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  I hope everyone everyone is doing well today. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a theme challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s awesome projects.
Here is our theme for this week.

I’ll admit, I had a little trouble at first coming up with an idea for this one. Here’s what I came up with.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Warm Hugs Bundle for my project today. Every holiday I make something a little special for my cashiers at work. This will be their gift this year. I’ll fill one of the cups with chocolates and the other I may put a gift card in.

I started by cutting 4 pieces of Mossy Meadow card stock using the scallop die from the Peony Dies. I wanted a scalloped edge and didn’t want to piece it, this die was just long enough for the carrier.

I adhered 4 pieces of the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper to the die cut card stock using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the pieces to the 4 sides of the Mini Coffee Carrier using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Using the North Pole Wonder Dies I cut a tag from a panel of Real Red cardstock and embossed it using the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folder. I tied a piece of Linen Thread through the tag and attached it to a piece of Mossy Meadow 3/8″ Diagonal Striped Ribbon and tied a bow around the handle. Using the Warm Wraps Dies, I cut the large circle from a panel of Mossy Meadow cardstock and the octagon from a panel of Real Red cardstock. On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment form the Stampin’ Up! Warm Hugs Photopolymer Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Warm Wraps Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the Real Red octagon mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the Mossy Meadow circle using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the matted sentiment to the Real Red tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I decorated 2 of the Mini Coffee Cups using the Warm Wraps Dies. I cut 4 of the wraps from a panel of Real Red cardstock and 8 of the scallop strips from a panel of Mossy Meadow cardstock. I embossed the Real Red wraps using the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folder.

I adhered the Mossy Meadow scalloped strips to the top and bottom the the Real Red wraps using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Using my Bone Folder I curled the wraps so they would bend around the cups easier. I adhered 2 of the wraps together on the ends using Stampin’ Seal and then inserted the cups.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my project and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my project, take a minute to hop through all our projects today.
