Stampin’ Up! Sympathy Pressed Petals CAS

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends.  How has everyone’s weekend started off?  I’ve gotten 4 of my 7 gardens cleaned up and mulched.  My gardens are encircled with very large rocks and every couple years I have to lift all the rocks and rake the dirt under them and put them all back.  Since last year I had shoulder surgery and couldn’t do anything, this is the year to do it.  My other 3 gardens I will clean up and re-do the rocks and I’m planning on putting small rocks instead of mulch.  Does anyone have plans for today?  It’s suppose to be rainy here, so I won’t be working outside much.  I love crafting on rainy days, so I’m hoping to get some time in between work.

So for today I have a super easy Clean and Simple card for you.  As I said yesterday, I’m trying to use up some of my DSP before it retires for good.  Here’s my card.

Unfortunately I’ve used up the sympathy cards I keep on hand so I thought I’d make one to keep in my box. I like to keep a couple on hand, just in case.

I started by cutting a panel of the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper that already had the encircled flowers on it.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Woven Heirlooms Cling Stamp Set in the center of the oval in Mossy Meadow Ink.

I adhered the DSP to a Mossy Meadow mat using Snail and then to a Mossy Meadow card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Well Said Cling Stamp Set in the center of a Very Vanilla panel in Mossy Meadow Ink.  I adhered 2 strips of the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP to the top and bottom of the panel using Snail.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I adhered a strip of the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP to the front of the envelope and a panel to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

  1. Your card is beautiful, Karen. I had this paper out yesterday so I might just use it today. Have fun crafting. It’s supposed to rain in NC too. Yesterday we had severe weather at our home in FL and here we just had heavy rain.
