Stampin’ Up Snow Is Glistening for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning everyone and welcome to another edition of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is “Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays”.  We can interpret this any way we want – so be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a group of very talented ladies hopping with us this month!

For my card today I used the Snow Is Glistening stamp set that is only available until November 30th.  Take a look.

I started with a panel of Vellum cardstock and stamped the tree from Snow Is Glistening stamp set in Versamark Ink.  I sprinkled it with my White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.  I adhered the Velum panel to a Gold Foil Sheet mat using Glue Dots. I added Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels all over the tree to decorate it.

Using my Big Shot, I cut out the Merry from Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies and 2 of the smallest snowflakes from Snowfall Thinlits Dies from a Gold Foil Sheet.  I adhered the Merry across the tree using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the snowflakes to the top of the tree using Glue Dots.  Using my Big Shot again, I ran a Real Red card front through using my Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I adhered the artwork to the Real Red card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped Christmas from the Merry Christmas To All stamp set in Real Red Ink on a piece of Gold Metallic-Edged Ribbon.  I wrapped the ribbon around the card front and tied a bow.  I adhered the card front to a Thick Very Vanilla card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from Merry Christmas To All stamp set in Real Red Ink.  I stamped one of the scrolls under the sentiment in Real Red Ink.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Real Red mat using Snail and then adhered it to the Thick Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card off I stamped the tree from Snow Is Glistening stamp set in Real Red Ink on the front left of a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.
