Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are starting with me, thank you. I hope you will stop by everyone’s blog to see what they have created this week. If you are hopping over from Akiko’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have Sketch Challenge. I’ve been wanting to make a shaker card since I saw this new set, so I did for today. Here is my card using this week’s Sketch.

I used all new items for my card today that will be in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog starting May 2nd. I used the Stampin’ Up! Bright & Beautiful Suite along with 3 of the new Core Colors for my card today.

This is our sketch for this week.

I started by cutting 3 balloons from a panel of Bright & Beautiful 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper using the new Beautiful Balloons Dies. I adhered a panel of Lemon Lolly cardstock to an Azure Afternoon card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a panel of the Gold Celebrations Specialty Designer Series Paper to the back of the die cut panel using Stampin’ Seal +. Using Foam Adhesive Strips, I went around the edges of the layered panel and around each balloon. I sprinkled some of the For Everything Fancy Sequins on the Lemon Lolly panel where the balloons would be. I adhered the layered panel to the card front on top of the sequins.

Using my Beautiful Ballons Dies, I cut a balloon and streamer from a panel of Lemon Lolly, 2 streamers from a panel of Azure Afternoon and a larger balloon and streamer from a panel of Bubble Bath. I adhered the streamers to the balloons on the die cut panel using Glue Dots. I adhered the small Lemon Lolly balloon to the card front panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the larger Bubble Bath balloon using the sequins balloon image from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons Photopolymer Stamp Set in Bubble Bath Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set in Azure Afternoon Ink on the Bubble Bath balloon. I adhered the balloon to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the streamer to the balloon using a Glue Dot.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set in Azure Afternoon Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the medium balloon image from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set on the panel in Bubble Bath and Lemon Lolly Inks. I stamped the streamer image from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set in Azure Afternoon Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, on the bottom of the balloons. I adhered a strip of the Bright & Beautiful DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Lemon Lolly mat then to the inside of the Azure Afternoon card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the balloon and streamer images from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set on the envelope front in Azure Blue, Bubble Bath and Lemon Lolly Inks. I adhered a panel of Bright & Beautiful DSP to the envelope flap.
