Good Monday morning stamping friends sand welcome to a new week. hope you all had a great weekend!! We headed back to TN yesterday late morning after a wonderful breakfast of a Baked Monte Cristo. I’m going to miss having James cook for me every day. Another amazingly fun retreat in the books. As always, we laughed till our sides ached and just had a great time being together. I can’t wait to get together with these ladies again. I’m staying for a few more relaxing days in TN with my sweet friend and roomie Judi and her husband Paul.

Today’s card was a request by one of my Girl Scouts from 10 years ago. As a lot of you know I was a Girl Scout leader for 13 years. I started these girls in kindergarten and graduated them from High School. 3 of my 5 that I graduated, I had for all 13 years. One of them contacted me asking if I could make her a custom card. I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Words & Labels Bundle, Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper and Hundred Acre Wood 3D Embossing Folder for my card today.

Emboss a panel of Silly Old Bear DSP with the Hundred-Acre Wood EF. Adhere the embossed panel to a Hydrangea Hue card base.

Using the Words & Labels Dies, cut a panel of Silly Old Bear DSP with a frame die, with the size larger frame die cut a panel of Early Espresso and the acorn tops, the leaves from a panel of Old Olive and the acorns from a panel of Pecan Pie. Adhere the acorn tops to the acorn bottoms. Stamp the sentiment from Sweet Words & Labels stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla. Cut the sentiment out with the Sweet Words & Labels Dies.

Adhere the die cut Silly Old Bear DSP to the Early Espresso mat. Adhere the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the leaves and acorn to the top of the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Thread a piece of Neutral Jute through the ends of the sentiment. Adhere the sentiment to the bottom of the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a leaf & acorn to the sentiment . Add a few Glossy Garden Dots to the card front.

Adhere a panel of Silly Old Bear DSP to the top of a Very Vanilla panel. Adhere the leaf and acorn die cuts to the panel. Adhere the Very Vanilla panel to an Early Espresso mat then to the inside of the Hydrangea Hue card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Adhere a strip of Silly Old Bear DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.
