Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. How has everyone’s week started off? I had really good intentions yesterday. I went to work in the morning. I got out a little earlier than normal since Friday was the 1st of the month. My intentions were to come home and make some cards and craft for a bit. The plans changed when my daughter had to be put in a hard cast for her broken and sprained ankle. The past 2 weeks she was in a soft cast and able to get around a little easier. Yesterday they put her in a hard cast up to her knee. She normally takes the train back and forth from school, but since it was raining she asked if I could give her a ride. Her class was only an hour so I sat in the parking lot and read till she was done. I still have lots of time to make a card and get a blog together so I wasn’t concerned. Well, everything changed when our 45 minute ride home turned into over 3 hours. I figured the ride might be a little longer since it had down poured for the entire hour my daughter was in class, but I never expected 3 hours. We got on the highway no problem taking the “quickest” route home and came to a dead stop, I mean 0 miles an hour stopped. That lasted for at least 2 hours before we started moving slowly. Needless to say, I was too tired when I got home to do anything. I’ll be back tomorrow with a card for you.
