Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? It’s feeling a bit like fall here. It went from being in the 90’s on Wednesday here to the 50’s this weekend. I feel bad for all those that head for the shore for Memorial weekend to kick off the summer (it’s a thing in NJ). I’m really hoping it warms up a little for our picnic tomorrow, or we’ll be bringing it inside.

My obsession continues with today’s card. I’m just changing up the colors a little. This was originally a card we were going to make at our next in person team meeting, but I’ve changed my mind on the design, so here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Color & Contour Bundle for my card today. I love the Basic Black with the Polished Pink, I think it really pops.

I started by embossing a Polished Pink card front with the Painted Textures 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to a Basic Black mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the matted card front to a Polished Pink card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

From a panel of Basic White cardstock I cut the the frame using the Scalloped Contours Dies. On the same panel, I stamped the outline flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Color & Contour Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the flower fill color in Polished Pink Ink over the outline image. I cut the flower out using the Scalloped Contours Dies.

On the scalloped frame, I stamped the sentiment from the Color & Contour stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the frame. I stamped the splotch image from the Color & Contour stamps set in Polished Pink Ink, stamping off once, on the top portion of the frame. I adhered the die cut flower image over the splotch stamp using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Matte Black Dots to the card front. I tied a small bow using the Polished Pink 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon and adhered it to the flower stem using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Color & Contour stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the outline flower image from the Color & Contour stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the side of the panel. I stamped the flower fill image in Polished Pink Ink over the outline image. I stamped the splotch image from the Color & Contour stamp set in Polished Pink Ink, stamping off once, around the flower. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Polished Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the outline flower image from the Colors& Contour stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the flower fill color in Polished Pink Ink. I stamped the splotch image from the Color & Contour stamp set in Polished Pink Ink, stamping off once, around the flower. I adhered a panel of the 2021-2023 In-Color Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.
