Stampin’ Up! Swirly Birthday CAS

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and Happy Independence Day!! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend and you have some fun plans for today.  There aren’t any fireworks around here this year, but I’m sure I’ll hear them going off somewhere with people setting them off.  Luckily fireworks and thunder don’t bother my dog at all.

For today’s card I have a very clean and simple card for you.  For those of you that know me, you know clean and simple is not me, but I thought I’d give it a try again.  I thought it was appropriate to make it Red, White and Blue.  Here’s my card for today.

My sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #442.  Here is their sketch.

My colors are from Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge #248, Red, White and Blue.

I played along with Seize The Birthday Challenge #194.  Here is their theme.

I joined in with Color My Heart Color Dare #401.  Here is their inspiration Board.

I started by stamping the small square from the Stampin’ Up! Swirly Frames Photopolymer Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight Ink on a Whisper White card front.  I stamped the small circle from the Swirly Frames stamp set in Real Red Ink over the square.  I stamped the small rectangle from the Swirly Frames stamp set in Real Red Ink overlapping the circle and square image.

On a strip of Misty Moonlight cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with my White Stampin’ Emboss Power and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the sentiment over the shapes on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the Whisper White card front to a Misty Moonlight mat using Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered a Real Red panel to the Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted card front to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Misty Moonlight 2020-2022 In-Color Enamel Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the circle and rectangle images from the Swirly Frames stamp set in Real Red on either side of the panel.  I stamped the small dot image from the Swirly Frames stamp set in Real Red Ink under the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Misty Moonlight mat using Stampin’ Seal, then to a Real Red mat using Stampin’ Seal and finally to the inside of the Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the circle and rectangle image from the Swirly Frames stamp set in Real Red Ink on the envelope front and flap.  I stamped the square image from the Swirly Frames stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink on the envelope front and flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Enjoy your day with whatever you do and stay safe.  Happy Stamping!!
