Good Sunday morning my stamping friends.  How is your weekend going?  I’ve got to go into work today, but I have been told that there are gloves and Purell at the register for us to use regularly and customers are asked if possible to use credit cards.  We’ll see how the day goes.

I have a birthday card for you today using some of the new Ornate Garden Suite items and lots of layers.  I just love cards with layers.  The Ornate Garden Suite items will be available to you starting April 1st.  These items will be in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  Here’s my card.

My design is from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #360.  Here is their sketch.

I started by getting all my pieces cut.  I used the Ornate Layers Dies to cut my Early Espresso  panel and then embossed it using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.  I cut my Terracotta Tile panel using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then stamped it using the small flower from the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style Cling Stamp Set in Terracotta Tile Ink.  Once everything was cut and ready I started to assemble.

I adhered a piece of Terracotta Tile 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon to the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper card front using Glue Dots overlapping it to the back.  I adhered a small panel of the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP to the left side of the Early Espresso embossed panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Terracotta Tile panel to the bottom right of the embossed panel overlapping the DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Terracotta Tile Ink.  I adhered the Mint Macaron mat to the back of the sentiment, off centering it, using Snail.  I adhered the sentiment to the Terracotta Tile panel using Glue Dots.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and then to an Early Espresso card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few 2019-2021 In-Color Faceted Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the scroll image from the Ornate Style stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink in the 4 corners of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Terracotta Tile mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Early Espresso card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the scroll image from the Ornate Style stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink in the 4 corners of the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of Ornate Garden Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.
