Good Tuesday morning and welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. The 2nd Tuesday of each month we have a Blog Hop. If you are starting here or have hopped over from Julie Johnston’s blog Welcome. I hope you will take the time to hop around and see all the amazing projects made by my remarkable team members. They are a very talented group of ladies. Our theme for this month is “LOVE”. We can interpret this any way we would like to. Here is the card I made for this months Blog Hop. Take a look.
I started with a Gray Granite card front and adhered a panel of Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper using Snail. Using my Big Shot and the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies, I cut out the border of hearts in Petal Pink cardstock. I also cut out the border of hearts in Gray Granite cardstock. I adhered the Petal Pink border about 2/3 the way down on my card front. Using Glue Dots I adhered the Gray Granite hearts inside the Petal Pink border (hope this makes sense).
I wrapped a piece of Silver & Petal Pink Bakers Twine around the card front and tied a side bow. I adhered the card front to a Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from Forever Lovely stamp set in Gray Granite Ink. I punched the sentiment out using the Pretty Label Punch. I punched a second label out in Gray Granite cardstock. I adhered the Whisper White label to the Gray Granite label using Snail. I adhered the label to the card front using Stampin’ dimensionals. I then adhered a few of the hearts that were cut out from the Petal Pink heart border to the label using Glue Dots for the 2 smaller hearts and a Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals for the larger heart. I brushed the hearts with some Wink Of Stella to give them a little shimmer.
On the inside I stamped the cluster of hearts from the Forever Lovely stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on a Whisper White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Gray Granite Ink over the hearts. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Petal Pink mat using Snail and then to a Gray Granite mat using Snail again. I adhered the matted piece to the Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
To finish my card I adhered a piece of Twinkle Twinkle DSP to a Medium Whisper White Envelope flap.
