Stampin’ Up! Let’s Celebrate You For The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. How is everyone doing today?  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects today. This week we had a Color Challenge.  Here are the colors we had to work with.

Here is my card using these colors.

I played along with Global Design Project Challenge #243.  They have a Theme challenge this week.  Here is their Theme.

I started by adhering a panel of the Flower for Every Season Designer Series Paper to an Early Espresso card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Using the 5th largest Stitched Rectangle Die, I cut 2 out of a panel of Old Olive cardstock and adhered them to the card front overlapping them in center slightly, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Bumble Bee cardstock I stamped the large sunflower image from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink.  I cut the sunflower out using the Sunflower Dies.  I cut a detailed sunflower out of the Bumble Bee cardstock using the Sunflower Dies and adhered it to the stamped sunflower using Multipurpose Liquid Glue only in the center.  I cut the small sunflower center out of a panel of Early Espresso cardstock using the Sunflower Dies and adhered it to the center of the sunflower using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped 3 leaves from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Old Olive Ink on a panel of Old Olive cardstock.  I cut the stamped images out using the leaf die from the Sunflower Dies.  I cut 3 of the detailed leaves out of the Old Olive cardstock using the Sunflower Dies.  I adhered the detailed leaves to the stamped leaves using Multipurpose Liquid Glue only down the center vein of the leaf.  I adhered the leaves to the back of the large sunflower using Glue Dots and adhered the sunflower to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Early Espresso Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the 2nd smallest Stitched Rectangle Die.  The die was a little short so I cut partway through, removed the die and placed it at the end of the sentiment, turned the cardstock and cut the other side partway through.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front over the sunflower using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a small bow using the new Bumble Bee 1/4″ 2020-2022 In-Color Ribbon and adhered it to the sentiment panel using a Glue Dot.  I added a few Bumble Bee 2020-2022 In-Color Enamel Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Many Mates Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the large sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink, stamping off once, over the top of the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to an Old Olive mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to the inside of the Early Espresso card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink on the bottom front of the envelope and on the envelope flap.  I stamped the leaf image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Old Olive Ink around the sunflower using the Masking Technique.
