Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers. Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week was a fun Sketch Challenge. Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects.  Here’s what I came up with for the sketch.

Here is our sketch for this week.

I started by adhering a panel of the Wrapped In Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Silver Foil Sheet card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the card front to a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a strip of Night of Navy cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up So Many Stars Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the sentiment strip to a Silver Foil Sheet banner using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut the scroll stars using the Stitched Stars Dies out of Silver Glimmer Paper.  I snipped the scroll in half so that I could arrange it with the banner so that some was on top and some on the bottom.

I adhered the scroll to the card front using Glue Dots where the banner would cover.  I adhered the sentiment banner over the scroll using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the stars from the scroll, scattered around on the card front, using Glue Dots.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the So Many Stars stamp set in the center of a Whisper White panel in Night of Navy Ink.  I stamped the cluster of stars image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Basic Gray Ink around the sentiment, stamping off once.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the star cluster image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Basic Gray Ink along the bottom of the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Wrapped In Plaid Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. 1. I always love your creations. I could easily use this for my class but with 20, I’m not sure I want to get into heat embossing 🙂 It definitely makes the card a finished piece.
